Executive Committee

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Executive Committee is composed of six elected Parish representatives, with the Pastor as Convener. Two new members are elected annually and serve four-year terms. They then replace the two members of the Executive Committee whose terms have expired.

The Executive Committee is responsible for planning the agenda for the monthly meetings as well as other duties assigned by the Convener. They, and the PPC At-Large, serve as advisors to the Pastor. Final responsibility lies with the Pastor.

Positions are selected annually within the Executive Committee after the new members are installed. Positions are:

  1. Chair
  2. Vice-Chair
  3. Recorder
  4. Interim Business Manager
  5. Finance Liaison
  6. School Liaison
  7. Christian Social Concerns
  8. Alternate
  9. Pastoral vicar

These should not be confused with volunteer Chairs who serve while they chair the following committees:

  1. Formation/Education
  2. Youth Ministry
  3. Liturgy
  4. Stewardship
  5. Christian Service/Social Concerns
  6. Evangelization
  7. Community Life
  8. Youth Representatives (usually 2)

The above two groups are the only voting members of the Parish Pastoral Council.

The Parochial Vicar and Operations Director also serve in advisatory capacities,
