In response to the devastating floods in Eastern KY, we will have a second collection this weekend to support Catholic Charities’ efforts in responding to the ongoing needs. Catholic Charities relief efforts begin with the immediate needs of survivors and continue along the journey to help individuals and families rebuild their lives. Please continue to pray for those impacted by this disaster.
Representatives from Habitat for Humanity will be outside after all masses this weekend “selling” 2x4s to support this year’s Catholic Build. For any donation you can sign a board that will be built into this year’s home. The build starts next week. For more information about the build or to volunteer visit lexhabitat.org/catholicbuild.
We will have a small collection of hymnals available for use during weekend English Masses. They will be on a cart near the St. Dominic statue. These hymnals have the readings and the music corresponds to the numbers on the left-hand side of the number boards in the front of the church. If using a hymnal we ask that you return it at the end of Mass.
With the start of the school year we will be using Mass acclamations from Mass of Redemption. This is a setting we have done many times in the past. You can learn more and listen to recordings here

R. (14b) Señor, date prisa en ayudarme.
Esperé en el Seño con gran confianza;
él se inclinó hacia mí
y escuchó mis plegarias.
R. Señor, date prisa en ayudarme.
Del charco cenagoso
y la fosa mortal me puso a salvo;
A mí, tu siervo, pobre y desdichado,
no me dejes, Señor, en el olvido.
Tú eres quien me ayuda y quien me salva;
no te tardes, Dios mío.
R. Señor, date prisa en ayudarme.
